As in title my car seems to shudder when I try to take off in first gear on times but only when it as been raining or the roads are wet but car is fine if the roads are dry any help on this will be great , I know it is due a old change which will be done this week but don’t think this would be the issue mind 

First thing comes to mind is tyres but could also be a clutch plate/pressure plate or engine mount issue but hard to diagnose and not sure why only in the wet

Worth dropping into a reputable local garage for them to road test it just in case it is a serious issue

The car is front wheel drive, tyres slip when you drive off, you can make this happen on most cars. If you drive off slowly does it happen ?
