Hi, just wondering if this may be familiar to anyone. We own a 2015 Nissan pulsar, and recently after driving for approx 1 hr on motorway car will jerk forward and back. We also get a warning light for the auto stop start, and loss of power. Is this familiar to anyone? Our local garage is trying to convince us this is normal wear and tear but I’m not convinced!

Sounds more like a failing battery to me
Have it checked and replaced if necessary

Also while your in the battery area check that the terminals are tight and that all earth leads are secure and not broken
