Hi guys. First time I've needed help but hoping someone has the info I need. My 2005 R20 Terrano 2 needed a new gearbox. After fitting it, I find that the Speedo cable on the car has a 3-wire plug, but the Speedo drive on the gearbox only has a 2-wire plug. How do I connect them? Can anyone help?

It could be that one is a passive (analogue) sensor and the other is an active (digital) sensor
The two wire (analogue) sensor probably won't work with your system and if the old gearbox is still around then try to recover it to fit into your new box
