2007 Qashqai Dead. (Fried)??

Featured Replies

1 month ago airbag light started to flash.

2 weeks ago sometimes when I would turn the wheel while driving the horn would beep, I ordered a new steering clock.

2 days ago while driving the horn beeped and the car died on the road.

When I turn on the ignition, the only things that work are the lights, radio and door locks.  There is nothing on the dashboard EXCEPT the flashing red car key light.  Everything else is totally dead...Nothing.

The ground cable from the battery was very corroded, it has been changed and I installed the new steering clock.   No change.   I put back in the old steering clock.

Any tips or help is greatly appreciated!!

Thank you!

If one of the earth straps was corroded then check any other ones that are there....it is quite common for this sort of fault to occur due to poor earths
Also check the battery terminals are tight and corrosion free
