When I’m stopped at traffic lights in my Nissan Qashqai e-Power, the petrol engine sometimes revs up even though I’m not moving. It sounds strange if you’re not used to it. I understand the engine charges the battery, but it feels random at times. Is this normal behaviour for the Nissan Qashqai e-Power system or something that should be checked out?
Don't fancy a trip to the dreaded dealer!

I am guessing it is part of the process for charging the battery but I would double check it with the dealer or Google search the symptoms and see what you can find
