Just about to purchase insurance for my 2024 inissan X-TRAIL E POWER N-CONNECTA, and am unsure what to put as fuel type. Some places pre-fill as Electric for fuel type, and others class a a Hybrid. Be very glad if any advice please!!! Thanks

I have programmed fobs in the past and they have to be programmed at the same time rather than doing it later as it is opened for programming within the timeframe

If it were me I would go over everything I have touched and ensure it is not damaged (as much as you can determine) and that there is nothing interfering with the component or wiring coming from it. This has worked many times for me when I have been in a rush and not noticed something simple

It looks like a damper for the throttle, EGR or similar

Certainly never heard of this before but if that appears to resolve the issue then its an easy (and cheap) fix 🙂

I had the same problem radio cutting off there is a fee upgrade from nissan now work perfectly it's a common problem

I own a 1.5dci Nissan pulsar 2015, and I want to change the CD player with a satnav unit. I was wondering if if anyone could help me find a wiring diagram for it as one of the original plugs doesn't fit into the new unit. I've had a look around and couldn't find one. Can anyone please help me?

Hi enzso ....welcome to the club There is a reset procedure for the CVT transmission which may benefit you. In September 2024 I bought a brand-new Qashqai e-power when the weather went below 5° the car would not start the dashboard would not come on after many times trying to start it would eventually start one morning it would not start and my foot slipped off the break onto the accelerator and I could hear the engine come on but the dashboard remain off after going through five diagnostic checks and the dealer saying that there’s nothing wrong with the car eventually they decided after seven months to change the instrument panel on the dashboard now we have to wait till September October when the weather gets cold to see whether it worked or not I’m sure that i’m the only one that is experiencing is happening too

Hi all, I am the third owner of my 1994 Nissan Altima. I'm looking to get some help and advice on repairs that it needs. Can somebody point me in the right direction to which forum I would use I don't really see a Nissan Altima forum. Alternatively I could just say what's wrong with it here. I need to swap out the knock sensor and I'm not really sure how to get to it. If anybody knows the procedure I would be grateful. The knock sensor is behind the engine below the intake manifold.

Hi all, I’m trying to replace the alternator on my 2017 Nissan Micra K14 Visia 1.0L (71PS – HR10DE engine), but I’ve hit a wall trying to get the belt off. I’ve located the tensioner pulley (the black one just above the alternator), but the centre is smooth — no bolt head or nut — and I can’t for the life of me find where to apply a tool to release the belt tension. I am no mechanic either .... wheels and fluids is usually my limit! I’ve checked above, behind, and around the tensioner pulley but can’t see a square hole or hex boss to rotate the tensioner arm. The engine bay is tight, and I’m not sure if I’m missing something obvious or if access is just that hidden. I’ve tried to follow online guides and videos, but most are for different engines or older models (K12/K13). Photos attached if that helps (can add more if needed). Any help — diagrams, tips, tooling advice — would be massively appreciated before I lose the will to live or call a mechanic 😅 Thanks in advance!

Hi folks. Im new to this, but im trying desperately to sell my 1989 silver nissan sunny. She's in good condition and has been garaged for 10 yrs. Iv had it from New, so one owner. She needs a service,MOT and taxed⁷. She's nearly 40yrs old and the milage is 130,000... shes an old lady with plenty of life her still. Thanks for readying my story.
