Hi Pat welcome to the club! :)
-
Check the wiring that goes from the main body to the tailgate. Can be a common problem on some Micra models
-
What sort of fuel economy were you getting previously? Have you tried any fuel system treatments?
-
Hi welcome to the club! Have you picked it up yet? :)
-
I believe this is quite a common problem on that vehicle. I have heard mentions of the 'glow plug control unit' so may be worth checking this out.

Welcome to the club! :)
MPG will drop a little in the cooler months this is to be expected. It sounds like you're doing everything right with tyre pressures etc and make sure you service it regularly.

If it's the clutch release bearing then it's the same as replacing the clutch with the whole assembly coming out. It can be good practice to change the clutch at the same time or at least examining the wear. Shouldn't be worn out after that little mileage though. Have you tried getting a garage or mechanic to diagnose it for you yet?

Firstly welcome to the club! :)
Normally if a batter light is flickering, it can point to the alternator being at fault, however I would have thought your mechanic would have picked up on this. Definitely sound electrical though. Could be a throttle position sensor or similar? I'm only making an educated guess though!

Have you tried plugging in a code reader to see if there are any error codes present on the ECU?
-
Could be something like the clutch release bearing? Is the car still under warranty?

Hi and welcome to the club! :)

Have you tried changing the leads too?

Hi Rudy welcome to the club! :)
I'm sure you will be able to keep it running for many years to come!
-
Why would you want to change them out of interest? How many miles have you done?
-
Have you checked your user manual as there are normally loads of conditions that have to be just perfect for stop start to work such as outside temperature, air con on/off, battery charge level etc etc

Welcome to the club! Good luck with your search for a new engine! :)

Hi Daffyd welcome to the club. Have you tried Euro Car Parts?

Hello everyone,
Can anyone direct me to a website that may have a .pdf for the owners manual for a 53 plate Almera 1.5 SE petrol.
My old 51 Almera is condemned(after 159,625 troubhle free miles!) so I have bought the above.
I run them into the ground as I am in a band and if I had a new car I would hate the thought of ripping the upholstery when I throw amplifiers & guitar cases in the back so old cars don't worry me at all.
This model has the LCD display with multi function panel, I have figured out most of the functions but the owners handbook is most helpful.
Mind you I bought the car from a dealer for £1400 3 days ago and I have since had to take it back as it lost power this morning and the engine management light came on...coil packs or fuel injection?? Oil pressure is fine, I guess they will plug it into a diagnostic and find out the trouble or it's money back time..
Many thanks and hope to see some replies

Strange problem not heard of that before. Have you checked the bluetooth settings on your phone to make sure you have allowed it to share data with the car?
