  2. Looks like a Juke bumper???
  3. Hi....welcome to the Club I had this issue on an X-Trail and it was the throttle pedal potentiometer. Where it is positioned it attracts dirt and sometimes moisture. You would need to remove it, clean it and reassemble then you have to set it up with a multimeter and check the voltages at certain ranges of pedal travel (Google search the procedure). Alternatively buy a new one as the fault may come back in the future and in the long term it may make more sense to replace it
  4. Hi.....welcome to the Club It sounds like the alternator is seized on the mounting bolt. If you loosen the main bolt that runs through the lower side of the alternator and allows the unit to move on it sideways. Once loose then the belt will free up. Other way is to pull the belt up and this should start to move the alternator on the bracket.
  5. let us know when you get one and how you find it for space
  6. I am 5'10" and have no issue with space on drivers side for legroom and its quite comfortable even on a long run
  7. Hi Ian.....welcome to the Club Can highly recommend the petrol 1.6 Juke, we own one and its a great little car with not much to moan about apart from high revs on a motorway Go for it!
  8. I believe the DAB aftermarket kit fits in line with the current audio so shouldn't interfere with it. Chat with Halfords as I know they sell the kits there
  9. Hi ... welcome to the Forum It sounds as though the aerial connection or booster (if fitted) have gone faulty. You could add a DAB converter to the system to get a better range of stations....Halfords sell them and not too expensive nowadays
  10. Hi Deb.....welcome to the Forums That's a tough one as you would have to remove the door card in situ which can be done but is fiddly and you may damaged some trim parts. I cannot think of any other way to get around it though
  11. Hi Sam Sorry to hear the bad news about your Dad....sounds like he cherished the Silvia...to be honest I haven't seen one in years. Chances are that it would fetch a good price and find a good home for someone through eBay.....maybe put a starting price on it of around ÂŁ800 and go from there
  12. Maybe worth checking the Coolant Temperature Sensor as this may have drifted out of working range and giving an incorrect signal when the engine is hot
  13. You could try a windscreen fitting company as they may stock clips for when they replace side glass If not, eBay should have something listed
  14. Hi....welcome to the Club I would imagine there was something seriously amiss in the first place for it to catch fire. If it is under the dash then it would involve a complete wiring loom, electronics, SRS and many other control systems....all of which will need programming to the vehicle (or whats left of it). In my honest opinion I don't believe it would be worth doing, financially and otherwise. If it has been paid out for by an insurance company then I would dispose of it via eBay or similar and look for another vehicle
  15. Hi ..... welcome to the Club You could try one of the larger windscreen companies to recalibrate the ADAS which is on the front screen as sometimes they are out of sync
  16. If you want to advertise in the for sale section of this forum, I'm sure some members would be interested in it
  17. Did you ever resolve this issue or has it started to improve as its getting warmer now?
  18. Standard on these armrests, too fragile and weight used to shift within the seat tends to break them and they don't tend to be fitted to used cars
  19. It looks like a common aftermarket locking wheel nut....maybe worth going to a motor accessory store to identify the type and whether they have any options for removal
  20. I would advise changing the fluid and filter in the autobox...this usually results in better shifting and output
  21. Did you ever find the answer to this issue?
  22. 0.9mm and 28Nm tightening torque
  23. Sounds like it is maybe a Fuel Pump Inertia Switch has tripped and needs resetting?
  24. Did you find out what the issue was?
  25. Did you find anywhere to carry out the modifications?
