bingbong123 Posted February 26, 2014 Share Posted February 26, 2014 Hi guys and gals. Recently bought a Nissan X trail 2.2 diesel on a 2003 53 plate. Just a quick one... when I unlock the doors the interior lights come on as they should...however the roof light in the boot and rear passenger seat all light up nicely but nothing at all in the drivers (cockpit) area. This light only appears to have one bulb and button that does come on when you press it on but not when the car door is opened or when it is unlocked? Firstly is the light supposed to come on, may be worth mentioning that my electric sunroof isnt working either...dont known if this is connected? geoffxm Posted August 29, 2014 Share Posted August 29, 2014 Hi, its correct that the front 'map reading' lights are operated separately from the main lights. it's thought that the rear interior lights are good enough to light the main cabin. sorry about the sun roof, one of the X Trails nicer features. could be a blown fuse or something more troublesome.
