K12 Rear shock problem (i think)

Hi guys,

 

Iam living in Aruba and own a K12 import from Japan.

 

last couple days i hear a loud banging sound when i drive the K12 on bumpy roads. (we only have bumpy roads here  ;) ).

 

 

I took of the left rear wheel, and it look likes the excaust hits the spring of the shock. is this a known problem?

 

i also took of the shock it self and i can compress it pretty easy by hand is this normal?

 

but even if the shock needs replacement the spring should not hit exhaust right?
