Hi all

Merry Xmas to all. Hope you are all having a great time despite Covid.

My remote has just packed up. Put new battery in so know that it's the remote control. Does anyone know where i can get a replacement as well as someone who can program it. the car is a 1996 QX 3.0ltr SEL. Hopefully one of you can help out.

Merry Christmas.

If you take it apart you may find that the small microswitches may have come away from the circuit board.
Not sure if it affects the QX but it is common on the X-Trail (similar to the Renault electronics)
Not too difficult to resolder or get some replacements from eBay to fit and no programming needed

Thanks Trevor. Will have a look but not sure about my soldering skills now due arthritis in fingers etc. Still if it turns out to be the problem sure I can find electrical repair shop to solder it.
