2005 Nissan Primera Engine fault appears saying PO171 Fuel System Lean fault and fuel economy has skyrocketed. 2 mechanics have said can be many things and don't want to really get involved. Anyone else had similar issues? Also key fob not working even after changing battery. Has been playing up for a while where I need to make a clicking noise when key is taken out of ignition but now is not working. Hey all, new to this forum. My partner's pulsar has done 112,000 klms and the CVT is broken and rattling. We dont have the $6,000 to fix it. What other options do I have? eg 2nd hand tranny, reconditioned tranny, repair. Any other advice? Rob.Robbennettcolyton joined the community- Yesterday

Hi @Riki .... welcome to the club Enjoy your X-Trail when you get itTrevor started following Hello From italy- Poor fuel economy on Nissan Juke around town
Good day to all you Jukie owners. My Nissan Juke doesn’t seem very fuel efficient for a small car. I mainly do short trips and I’m only getting low 30s mpg. It’s a 1.2 DIG-T petrol. I was expecting better but maybe that’s just unrealistic. Is this normal for the Nissan Juke or should I be checking things like tyre pressures, air filter or spark plugs? Curious what other owners actually get day to day. Cheers GuysRiki started following Nissan X-Trail Forum- Hello From italy
Hello to everyone! I'm buying an x Trail e-power 4x4!Riki joined the community- Timing chain slipped
Hi - I was checking the timing on my Pulsar 1.2 DIG-T engine and the chain has slipped while turning the crankshaft. Is there a way to fix this without removing the head?- Navara 2021
That sounds like one of the wheel sensors has gone faulty - a scan of the fault codes in the ABS system will more than likely show a code for a wheel sensorTrevor started following Strange engine noise on Nissan Qashqai e-Power when stationary and Navara 2021- Navara 2021
My navara has has 2 amber warning lights come on when driving, crash detecion and traction control. Just wondering if any of yous know what this could be Many thanksNeil p joined the community- Strange engine noise on Nissan Qashqai e-Power when stationary
I am guessing it is part of the process for charging the battery but I would double check it with the dealer or Google search the symptoms and see what you can find- car won't start
I would say the first place to start is the battery and terminals (ensure they are clean and tight) from there i would check the battery condition to ensure it is fully charged. If its not charged then check the alternator drivebelt and see if the red Ignition lamp comes on goes off when the engine is turningNissan Owners Club started following car won't startMIKE ACK joined the community- Nissan Qashqai e-Power fuel economy seems lower than expected
Fuel efficiency (of whatever source - petrol, diesel, electric, hydrogen, etc) is quite popular on many forums at the moment. Mainly because of the fact that people bought a vehicle based on the manufacturer's advertised efficiency which has been way short of what is actually achieving in the real world. Have a check on forums such as ToyotaOwnersClub.com and there is a huge discussion which debates the best methods of driving with electric or hybrid vehicles. Good luck and Merry Christmas to you also!- Nissan Qashqai e-Power fuel economy seems lower than expected
I’ve had my Nissan Qashqai e-Power for a few months now and I’m a bit disappointed with the fuel economy. I’m mainly doing town driving and expected better mpg based on what I read before buying. I know driving style matters but it still seems lower than it should be. Is this normal for the Nissan Qashqai e-Power or am I missing something in how it should be driven to get the best efficiency? Merry Christmas!- Earlier

- Electrical issues, center console backlighting
Hello, I have a petrol 2015 (65) 1.2 DIG-T N-TEC Xtronic I’m having electrical issues. These have started over the past month. The car is used daily. Multiple times regular Back lighting of center console is off. So the main media display still works normally and is visible. But all other lighting is off including the air conditioning digital display is off and all orange lighting off behind all button controls including the auto box gearstick back lighting is off. All functionality of all buttons still works normally but lighting doesn’t. Sometimes the lights work sometimes they don’t. Sometimes when I turn ignition on they work then when I start car they turn off. Multiple times regular Sporadic engine warning light (yellow) - P0594 cruise control servo control circuit / open. This stays on for a day or so then turns off then reappears a few days later. Both of cruise control and speed limiter systems work fine as normal when this light is on. One time Power steering light (yellow) - I believe my model has electric power steering. This stayed on for a day or so then turned off I have checked the voltage over battery when switched off (12.58v) and alternator reading (14.28v) when engine on. Halfords did battery health check and confirmed battery fine at 94% health. The car mechanically runs fine. Can anyone help with what to look into next prior to me having to admit defeat and take car to auto electrician- car won't start
- Strange engine noise on Nissan Qashqai e-Power when stationary
When I’m stopped at traffic lights in my Nissan Qashqai e-Power, the petrol engine sometimes revs up even though I’m not moving. It sounds strange if you’re not used to it. I understand the engine charges the battery, but it feels random at times. Is this normal behaviour for the Nissan Qashqai e-Power system or something that should be checked out? Don't fancy a trip to the dreaded dealer!- Nissan Juke losing power when pulling away, is this normal?
I assume its a manual transmission or automatic? A cold engine can produce these symptoms and wonder if it does it when starting the engine when hot?- Nissan Juke CVT gearbox feels odd, is this how they drive?
The CVT does sound strange when driving compared to a manual transmission. But if you can find another just to test drive and make a comparison to satisfy yourself as to whether it is normal or not.
