  2. Hi. We have a Nissan Serena Highway Star. Registered here 2009. We got hit while parked outside by unknown driver. Our right side wing mirror was damaged and a scrape down the side. Insurance company couldn't find any repair station that could replace the mirror and nor can we. They paid us a minimal sum to repair it ourselves. Any suggestions or anyone local in Essex breaking one? Sue and Rob.

Main issues that need attention is the right hand lower suspension arm needs replacing and the automatic side door motor also needs replacing ( wasn’t working when I bought it) tires are brand new and has mot till October. Condition apart from suspension arm is how I purchased it. Engine runs lovely still. Selling as no longer need a big car. £1200 ono

  4. Just come across a video suggesting that the neutral position switch on the gearbox may also have gone. Diagnosis is to turn on the Engine heater switch then engage a gear. Revs should return to normal idle if the switch is operating. My car does not return to idle. Stays revved up and I canove forward without there being any change Could this contribute to the error lights I'm facing?

  5. Hi guys, New to the forum so please be nice.... So the other day I noticed my Juke 1.6 Auto stalling in between 1st and 2nd gear. After a bit of research, I found that this is a common defect in models from 2012-2017. Mine is a 66 plate and only done 60k miles. I seen in America there was a class action against Nissan in which they extended the warranty on the CVT in these cars to 80ish thousand miles. However, that doesn't help us here in the UK. I know getting a new transmission fitted here will be in the thousands of pounds. This I just cannot afford. Just wondering if anyone has any advice on how to go about getting this sorted without it bankrupting me? Has anyone managed to get a decent deal from Nissan to get this fixed due to it being a well known defect? Any help will be greatly appreciated.
