louislou Posted January 15, 2017 Share Posted January 15, 2017 hi all hope you can help i have a k12 micra and struggling to start in the morning, before the cold wether it had poor idle at times but liveable, but now its cold it dont seem like the choke cuts in ive ordered a new coolant temperature sensor and would like to know the location any help would be appreciated, where under the bonnet will i find the sensor ? thanks lou Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Trevor Posted January 16, 2017 Share Posted January 16, 2017 Hi Lou....welcome to the Forum I think the coolant sensor is the culprit....usually is when cold starts are involved The sensor should have 2 wires going to it, if there is one with one wire it is more than likely the one for the temperature gauge.
