Worth asking the local scrapyard as they may have both there and can do a comparison
-
It may be the relay at fault, worth checking there is no water leaked into the fusebox area

Gone through all the eBay from the link still not found a manual for my Micra K13 I’m guessing there isn’t one.
online version it is then 😞

Not so sure it will be that simple
I would ask the local scrapyard if they know (usually quite knowledgable about what fits what) as there may be subtle differences that would be hard to get resolved

Press the brake pedal or clutch pedal to start the engine possibly ?

It is more important to use the correct SAE specifications for the choice of oils to use....e.g, Nissan specification rather than the viscosity.
You can use the Castrol oil selector app which states the correct grade but you may need to dig deeper as to the best specification -
I would start with resolving the oil consumption issue.
This would hopefully sort any issues with noise from the engine.
Maybe also research the different oil grades you can put in the engine and maybe run a heavier weight of oil (e.g. 10w40 instead of 5w30)?
As long as it is the SAE specification for Nissan engines -
Have you managed to get some sensors fitted?
Aftermarket reverse sensors are quite effective and there are several companies that will install them cheaper than the dealers would charge -
Hi....welcome to the Club
Here is a link to some manuals on eBay
-
That would be an ideal place to locate it
-
I'm sure a Nissan dealer could interpret the VIN number for you to determine year of manufacture

Hi....welcome to the Club
Not sure where to start looking for a manual to be honest
I owned an Urvan many years ago and didn't have too many issues with it at all, except for corrosion of course.
Not sure what the 4WD was derived from, Patrol possibly?
-
Good luck with your search, they're getting quite rare now

Hi Tim....welcome to the Club
I really like the Murano, think they should have stuck with that shape for other model designs
Feel free to jump in answering any questions (especially about Nissan parts) if you would like to?
Good to have you onboard!

Maybe worth locating one in a scrapyard (no matter what condition) to offer it up to see how different it actually is?
-
That's not good for a car of that age or mileage
I do wonder if it is down to the fact that the oil has run low and caused the issue which then may be more than a head gasket.
-
🙂 I have no idea why it is like that but I'm sure the boffins in Nissan had their reasons, I too would also like to know if anyone has the answer?
-
You may notice some drop off on efficiency but then this is hard to calculate over time as it depends on weather, type of road being used (urban, motorway, etc), ambient temperatures, traffic and so many other factors that I would worry too much about it and maybe part with the car if you do notice some serious deterioration to the charge and output rate
-
I would try ebay as usually have these stickers on there
-
Tow Hitch Cover
Its the cover which you would remove to attach the towing eye supplied with the car
-
no, but worth shopping around the dealers to see what there prices are, most dealers tend to differ in cost
-
Great to see someone using the correct method of diagnosis to determine an electrical fault
Unfortunately, the remedy is pointing to the BCM which doesn't make it a pleasant pill to swallow with the cost of a new one.
I do wonder if there is any water ingress to the BCM or indeed if the earth leads are in good condition throughout the vehicle (have come across similar issue with Nissan's before)? -
Sounds like the linkage has dropped off internally but getting the door card off in-situ now thats whole other problem
