  1. Hi....welcome to the Club Usually, in the absence of a full size or space-saver spare wheel then there is a 'get you home' puncture repair kit. This consists of a tin of spray foam which is introduced into the tyre via the valve and then the air compressor is connected to inflate the tyre to pressure. Once you have managed to drive to a tyre repair centre then the tyre will usually need to be replaced. Another option is to use 'Slime' in the tyres which prevents punctures and can be driven with it in the tyre permanently.
  2. The usual way to release a bonnet is going through the grill area, either try releasing it with a screwdriver poked through but watch the radiator, etc Alternatively, try removing the grill to access the latch mechanism
  3. Hi....welcome to the Club Wow! a Bluebird.....haven't seen one in a very long time. Definitely worth doing up, would check the fuel lines and drain down any old fuel you can retrieve then look for any rodent damage and it should be as good as new. Would love to see video of the old girl starting up for the first time after her long rest Good to have you onboard and keep us updated on progress
  4. I seem to have dropped in power over the years and increased in economy....sign of ageing or growing up 🙂
  5. Nice! quite a drop in power then 😞
  6. You could try a windscreen fitting company as they can usually obtain obsolete windows
  7. Would check that the sensors read the same resistance as one could be faulty
  8. Hi Andy......welcome to the Club What did you have with 300hp before the Xtrail? Good to have you on board!
  9. Have a look at the reluctor (toothed) ring .....unless it has a Gen2 type wheel bearing type. If the air gap is incorrect or toothed ring damaged/missing then no signal. Also check the connections again to see if pins aligned or damaged One other thing, worth checking resistance of sensors, maybe one is bad?
  10. Could be a broken suspension link which affects the headlamp adjustment
  11. Not sure, but worth experimenting with switching the engine on and off using different methods to see if this invokes the fault. Also, if the battery voltage dips too low by constant restarting then this could also be an issue. Maybe worth turning the stop/start function off also to see if that resolves the issue
  12. There is usually a good detailer in most towns around the UK. Be aware that a detailer is different from a valeter and specialises in refreshing paintwork and vehicle finishing....expect to pay around £80 upwards for a paint refresh
  13. A good detailer should be able to 'mop out' fine scratches and anything else can be smart repaired as opposed to a full repaint and a lot cheaper as well
  14. I believe it is on the rear of the engine lower down ..... near the oil filter possibly?
  15. Feel free to post up more photos if you wish. I suppose the only shows I can think of are JapFest and the like which is more for modified cars. If anyone knows of any shows and events for stock Japanese cars then post them here
  16. If in doubt or if it gets any louder then take it in sooner to be on the safe side
  17. Code 122: Air bag diagnosis sensor unit
  18. It does sound like injectors but also a diesel knock and nothing out of the ordinary from what I could hear....not got the best hearing though
  19. Have increased the capacity for image upload, try that now If it was me, I would keep it as have got rid of too many cars over the years which I regret selling and have no chance of affording them now.
  20. Try that....have now increased the capacity for uploads
  21. That's a tough one! Not sure of a value but it looks amazing condition. Probably eBay on auction is the best route and set a minimum price to gauge the value Let us know how you get on with it
  22. You can contact us here: https://www.nissanownersclub.com/forums/contact/
  23. Looks like a Juke bumper???
  24. Hi....welcome to the Club I had this issue on an X-Trail and it was the throttle pedal potentiometer. Where it is positioned it attracts dirt and sometimes moisture. You would need to remove it, clean it and reassemble then you have to set it up with a multimeter and check the voltages at certain ranges of pedal travel (Google search the procedure). Alternatively buy a new one as the fault may come back in the future and in the long term it may make more sense to replace it
  25. Hi.....welcome to the Club It sounds like the alternator is seized on the mounting bolt. If you loosen the main bolt that runs through the lower side of the alternator and allows the unit to move on it sideways. Once loose then the belt will free up. Other way is to pull the belt up and this should start to move the alternator on the bracket.
