  1. Hi....welcome to the Forum Maybe you would need to drop the initial digit to bring it to the required amount??
  2. Hi....welcome to the Forum https://www.vinnumberlocation.com/nissan-serena.html Hope this helps
  3. Hi....welcome to the Forum Not sure if it is a common fault but if it is still covered by warranty then I would definitely get them to replace it for free. Let us know how you get on with it
  4. Hi....welcome to the Forum You could just bypass the oil cooler in the interim to determine whether this is the cause of the coolant mixing with the oil. Not too bad this time of the year for temperature so shouldn't overheat the engine in the short term. Not sure of engine compatibility, sorry 😞
  5. Hi Jon....welcome to the Forum With the complications involved in wiring and coding in a later Nissan head unit it would be easier to directly wire in an aftermarket head unit from Halfords You can even get the wiring adapters and fascia plates from them
  6. Hi....welcome to the Forum I believe you can get an external DAB radio interface...check Halfords to see what they can offer
  7. Hi....welcome to the Forum I'm not 100% sure but you may be able modify the braking system to take it out of the equation and replace with copper pipes to bypass it completely and remove it from the vehicle. It would only be used to compensate for weight and add more pressure to the rear brakes to aid braking, which probably not be too noticeable when braking. If it passes the MOT on brake efficiency then it would be suitable for road use.
  8. Hi.....welcome to the Forum I wonder if Nissan sell something to fit....then maybe get the brand and part number to research it elsewhere?
  9. Hi....welcome to the forums It could be some corrosion on the mechanism (like a detent not popping back into place). Maybe worth spraying WD40 or similar into the mirror assembly to free everything up
  10. Hi....welcome to the Forum You can fit temporary headlamp beam deflectors as long as they are securely attached and deflect the 'kick-up' to the kerbside (left hand side in the UK)
  11. Try Adrian Flux and they even offer a discount through being in the owners club https://www.adrianflux.co.uk/aci-insurance/?utm_source=NissanOwnersClub
  12. Hi .... welcome to the Forum Generally any aftermarket bulbs that state that they provide '25% more light' or similar such as Philips which can be purchased through local Halfords These will put out a brighter light than standard Halogen bulbs
  13. Hi Simon....welcome to the Forum Fine looking machine! You see quite a few on the road but not really looked into them too much, mainly looked at Toyota Alphard and similar Good to have you onboard
  14. Hi Alan Here is a link to one: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NISSAN-LEAF-10-17-A-C-PIPE-PART-NUMBER-92480-3NL0B/382872527501?epid=12024233838&hash=item5924fb228d:g:vpIAAOSwrFlcn0O0
  15. Hi Trevor....welcome to the Forum It could possibly be a vacuum leak as this causes similar symptoms. If you carry out an exhaust gas check (any MOT approved garage should be able to carry out a Pre-MOT gas test) and look for Oxygen (O2) levels above zero which suggest a leak in the intake or exhaust. Also, Hydrocarbons (HC) which should be very low (almost zero) which suggests that there is an ignition problem if high. Let us know how you get on with it. Cheers, Trevor
  16. I think the signal comes through the radio antenna and may need setting up in the system to function correctly. Not sure also if it is a subscription based service
  17. Hi....welcome to the Forum That looks incredibly poor quality looking at the amount of material that is actually retaining the handle to the door plate. I wonder if it is a warranty item as it would affect opening the door which is an MOT item?
  18. Hi....welcome to the Forum The VIN is usually on a plate at the bottom of the windscreen and also on a plate in the engine bay and also the door pillar
  19. Hi Carl....welcome to the Forum Sounds like the throttle pedal sensor is faulty, quite a common fault You can usually dial it in with a multimeter between certain voltages by turning the sensor to suit the required range
  20. I think it is down to maintenance and if the oil has been changed regularly then it stands more of a chance of lasting longer. I have heard of owners who have challenged the manufacturers and got it done under warranty.
  21. Thanks for the update. Where exactly did you saw the hole? Do you have a photo of the location you could share with us, always useful to know in the future if anyone else encounters the same issue.
  22. Thanks for updating us on your search and sounds like you didn't have a good first experience with a Qashqai with this particular one. Certainly worth trying another one, maybe the 2.0 litre next time?
  23. Hi.....welcome to the Forum I'm not sure where it is on the net but I have definitely seen a website with templates for vehicle dimensions before....better get 'Google'ing 🙂
  24. It would be great if you could find someone who has done this mod and please post up here if you find anything out as I'm sure others would like to know if it is possible Be in mind this will affect your insurance as the vehicle classification will be for a seven-seater and not eight. This may also affect the Taxation class as well.
