  1. This is due to a internal module problem with the back up power ,check that the connection is good remove and clean with contact cleaner ,still having issue then have a new module installed and programmed This came from a Google search, worth checking all connections you can find under the bonnet, starting at the battery and work your way out from there. Don't forget to check earth leads and connections Also check the battery is strong, engine may start but volts could have dropped low when cranking the engine over and this could have flagged the fault code
  2. Thanks for the review and feedback....the Juke is a good all round vehicle and definitely nice to drive, enjoy!
  3. I would be tempted to spray WD40 (via thin tube that is supplied with it) liberally within any area you can see where it rotates and see if you can find a way to introduce it into the motor mechanism (but not the electric motor)
  4. thanks for the feedback and glad it worked out okay
  5. You could possibly fit the components but without the switches and wiring being in place it would also need the components coding to the body control unit for it to work...maybe not worth it for the cost and uncertainty?
  6. you might be able to find a satnav audio head unit that has the security code and possibly(?) it might work without coding to the vehicle body control unit ?
  7. Maybe the wiring has broken in the rubber gaiter leading to the tailgate pull back the rubber each end and inspect the wiring
  8. Hi....welcome to the Club Glad to hear you stuck with another X-Trail....hopefully in a brighter colour you may be seen next time by other drivers 🙂 Good to have you onboard
  9. It sounds like battery strength and condition is poor. I would definitely try a new battery before proceeding to replace other parts
  10. looks like a specific Nissan plug I believe back then it would have been pre-PBD and not capable of storing/reading fault codes
  11. only one crank sensor, which will either be at the front under timing cover or towards the rear of the crank (gearbox end - but more unlikely nowadays)
  12. Check all earth leads and connections under the bonnet and leading from the battery down to the chassis, engine and transmission
  13. The valve block should transfer over but the ECU will need to be reprogrammed to the vehicle
  14. sounds like you need to remove the seat and rectify the issue and refit it could have been something trapped in between the seat mechanism that caused it to jam
  15. try a new (quality brand) battery and see if that works
  16. https://www.startmycar.com/gb/nissan/pixo/info/fusebox
  17. maybe another flush out of the fluid as it could be still contaminated. Refill with the correct fluid and see if that changes anything
  18. Sounds like the primer diaphragm might have a slight leak and is drawing air into the fuel filter housing. I would source a replacement primer head and replace the fuel filter at the same time
  19. Maybe there is still an issue with air in the fuel filter housing and as long as the primer is firm to push in then its okay if the resistance drops quickly and you find you have to pump it more to fill the filter then replace the primer and also the filter if it hasn't been done for a while. Start there and see how you get on Black with yellow lead is an earth but where to no idea, unless its back to the battery negative directly. On that note, check all earth leads are in tact and corrosion free as quite common fault on Nissans
  20. There are quite a few listed https://www.google.com/search?q=vin+plate+manufacturer&rlz=1C5MACD_en&oq=vin+plate+manu&gs_lcrp=EgZjaHJvbWUqBwgAEAAYgAQyBwgAEAAYgAQyBggBEEUYOTIICAIQABgWGB4yCAgDEAAYFhgeMggIBBAAGBYYHjIICAUQABgWGB4yCAgGEAAYFhgeMggIBxAAGBYYHjIICAgQABgWGB4yCAgJEAAYFhge0gEIODUwMWowajeoAgCwAgA&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8
  21. Maybe it is the same sensor part number if the lead is long enough to reach - that is assuming it has a B sensor.....if you do find another there, change the plugs over to the A sensor and see if the fault transfers to A sensor
  22. Only one i could find which as you say is for LHD van but should be similar position and not too bad to change...let us know how you get on with it
  23. would trawl the scrapyards but unlikely to find an older model like that so maybe expand your search to include newer Nissan models that may have a similar switch fitted
  24. There should be an adjuster down the inner side of the headlamp under the bonnet to adjust it Why does it need adjusting anyway? Is the bulb fitted correctly in the headlamp as this can affect the beam angle
  25. I would try a quality battery (EverReady, Duracell, etc) as cheap batterys do not really work well
