  1. Could be a broken suspension link which affects the headlamp adjustment
  2. Not sure, but worth experimenting with switching the engine on and off using different methods to see if this invokes the fault. Also, if the battery voltage dips too low by constant restarting then this could also be an issue. Maybe worth turning the stop/start function off also to see if that resolves the issue
  3. There is usually a good detailer in most towns around the UK. Be aware that a detailer is different from a valeter and specialises in refreshing paintwork and vehicle finishing....expect to pay around £80 upwards for a paint refresh
  4. A good detailer should be able to 'mop out' fine scratches and anything else can be smart repaired as opposed to a full repaint and a lot cheaper as well
  5. Feel free to post up more photos if you wish. I suppose the only shows I can think of are JapFest and the like which is more for modified cars. If anyone knows of any shows and events for stock Japanese cars then post them here
  6. If in doubt or if it gets any louder then take it in sooner to be on the safe side
  7. Code 122: Air bag diagnosis sensor unit
  8. It does sound like injectors but also a diesel knock and nothing out of the ordinary from what I could hear....not got the best hearing though
  9. Have increased the capacity for image upload, try that now If it was me, I would keep it as have got rid of too many cars over the years which I regret selling and have no chance of affording them now.
  10. Try that....have now increased the capacity for uploads
  11. That's a tough one! Not sure of a value but it looks amazing condition. Probably eBay on auction is the best route and set a minimum price to gauge the value Let us know how you get on with it

  13. Looks like a Juke bumper???
  14. Hi....welcome to the Club I had this issue on an X-Trail and it was the throttle pedal potentiometer. Where it is positioned it attracts dirt and sometimes moisture. You would need to remove it, clean it and reassemble then you have to set it up with a multimeter and check the voltages at certain ranges of pedal travel (Google search the procedure). Alternatively buy a new one as the fault may come back in the future and in the long term it may make more sense to replace it
  15. Hi.....welcome to the Club It sounds like the alternator is seized on the mounting bolt. If you loosen the main bolt that runs through the lower side of the alternator and allows the unit to move on it sideways. Once loose then the belt will free up. Other way is to pull the belt up and this should start to move the alternator on the bracket.
  16. let us know when you get one and how you find it for space
  17. I am 5'10" and have no issue with space on drivers side for legroom and its quite comfortable even on a long run
  18. Hi Ian.....welcome to the Club Can highly recommend the petrol 1.6 Juke, we own one and its a great little car with not much to moan about apart from high revs on a motorway Go for it!
  19. I believe the DAB aftermarket kit fits in line with the current audio so shouldn't interfere with it. Chat with Halfords as I know they sell the kits there
  20. Hi ... welcome to the Forum It sounds as though the aerial connection or booster (if fitted) have gone faulty. You could add a DAB converter to the system to get a better range of stations....Halfords sell them and not too expensive nowadays
  21. Hi Deb.....welcome to the Forums That's a tough one as you would have to remove the door card in situ which can be done but is fiddly and you may damaged some trim parts. I cannot think of any other way to get around it though
  22. Hi Sam Sorry to hear the bad news about your Dad....sounds like he cherished the Silvia...to be honest I haven't seen one in years. Chances are that it would fetch a good price and find a good home for someone through eBay.....maybe put a starting price on it of around £800 and go from there
  23. Maybe worth checking the Coolant Temperature Sensor as this may have drifted out of working range and giving an incorrect signal when the engine is hot
  24. You could try a windscreen fitting company as they may stock clips for when they replace side glass If not, eBay should have something listed
  25. Hi....welcome to the Club I would imagine there was something seriously amiss in the first place for it to catch fire. If it is under the dash then it would involve a complete wiring loom, electronics, SRS and many other control systems....all of which will need programming to the vehicle (or whats left of it). In my honest opinion I don't believe it would be worth doing, financially and otherwise. If it has been paid out for by an insurance company then I would dispose of it via eBay or similar and look for another vehicle
