Newbie with a warning sound question!!
Hi...welcome to the Forum First thoughts are level sensors but if not, then maybe an issue with a front parking sensor which could be sensing the bollard....just a thought. Not sure if you can switch them off to try it? Good to have you onboard Cheers, Trevor

FOB Coding / Programming for a Nissan Note 2011
I know what you mean....tried several different ways with X-Trails in the past....usually find that it is one of the methods but if you miss any part of the sequence or it is slightly outside of the timeframe then this is the reason. May also be an idea to take it to the dealer to programme up to the car...they probably do it all the time and it would only take them a couple of minutes to do so wouldn't cost a lot.

Used 370Z buyers guide?
Hi Alex...welcome to the Forum The 370z is a great machine, would love one myself. Quite what they are like to own with maintenance costs and repairs, I'm not sure but hopefully someone on here can assist you further. Good to have you onboard and let us know how it goes with finding one. Cheers, Trevor

After 2 weeks I need a bonnet!
Hi Nick....welcome to the Forum How unfortunate, I would have denied it and blamed it on the wife, lol Bonnet is easy enough to unbolt and bolt back on but ensure there are two of you to hold it otherwise it may fall back onto the windscreen and damage that as well. Finding one in the right colour does ensure that you don't need to involve paintwork as this costs big money. Good luck and let us know how you get on with it Cheers, Trevor

Code for Connect
Hi....welcome to the Forum Not sure there is a security code for the Connect system. Not many vehicles have this setup nowadays as the security is integrated into the coding of the component to the vehicle.Chhad to disconnect the battery and power down the vehicle, saves any aggro with recoding the various systems afterwards.

Hello from newbie with a juke
I know what you mean about the read outs so thats why I always drive on the odometer where I know that I should get approximately 90 miles to £10 on my Honda CR-V and that is based around 45 miles to the gallon. Once you get used to driving by the miles rather than rely on the gauges then its a far better way of judging the accuracy

New Pulsar
Great to hear that you are happy with it and that the niggling faults aren't major ones. Look forward to reading your update

Hello from newbie with a juke
HI Lisa....welcome to the Forum Your car should hold 46 litres in the tank....that's just over 10 gallons which means at 58mpg that you should be getting a readout of 580 miles range - if my maths are correct :-( https://www.carleasingmadesimple.com/data/nissan/juke/fuel-tank-capacity/ A lot of modern vehicles don't actually achieve the stated mpg that they are advertised as getting so it seems like you are currently getting only 41 to the gallon, which isn't good. Let us know how it all goes Cheers, Trevor

Project Moff - 600BHP R33 GTS-t Skyline
Just read your blog....looks like you had a great time there. One of my favourite tracks but never had the nerve (or the right car) to take around it but love visiting the circuit to watch various race events. Great to see Moff out there after the accident, was she running better than before? any mods to do for the future after shaking her down?

Murano 2009 Hydraulic Lifters
Hi Rod Does sound like a deep rattle...see how the flush works and let us know the result. As for replacement, should be able to do it in situ but may be a bit tight. Again, let us know how it all goes but if it isn't tappet rattle then I wouldn't delay doing the camchain as this is a common failure on some Nissans

WATER AND WADING THE X TRAIL
Hi Graeme.....welcome to the Forum That's very unfortunate, especially as you say it was below the maximum wade height...surely it should be able to handle that type of activity as it is sold as a Utility vehicle? Keep us informed on how you get on with it all Cheers, Trevor

Murano 2009 Hydraulic Lifters
Hi Rod....welcome to the Forum I know what you mean about dealer prices and never buy any parts from them over all the years, especially as you can get parts of equal quality for a fraction of the price. Are you sure it is a hydraulic tappet and not timing chain/belt tensioner or associated components. I would usually just run a flush through the engine to clean out any oilways that may be sludged up and then put a quality oil back in...usually does the job. Let us know what you find Cheers, Trevor

Hi Fred....welcome to the Forum Sorry, can't shed much light on your query but I would certainly entertain aftermarket wheels for winter use, cheaper if damaged and need to be replaced. Good to have you onboard Cheers, Trevor
